Pratap Chandra Sarangi took charge as the Minister of State (MoS) for MSME. They both took oath on May 30. Gadkari fought elections from Nagpur LS constituency and Sarangi was the candidate from Balasore LS constituency.
New Delhi, Jun 04 (ANI): Businessman and husband of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, Robert Vadra arrived at the office of Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday in connection with money laundering case. The case involves the purchase of properties in London, Dubai, Rajasthan and the National Capital Region. ED had issued summon to Robert Vadra after moving to court in May's last week seeking cancellation of his anticipatory bail.
New Delhi, Jun 04 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati confirmed the speculations of BSP fighting by-elections alone. Addressing the mediapersons, Mayawati said, "We can't ignore political compulsions. In the results of Lok Sabha elections in UP, base vote of Samajwadi Party, the 'Yadav' community, didn't support the party. Even strong contenders of SP were defeated." She further added, "It's not a permanent break. If we feel in future that SP chief succeeds in his political work, we'll again work together. But if he doesn't succeed, it'll be good for us to work separately. So we've decided to fight the by-elections alone."

Yesterday, itself we had dispatched a team of six officers to Kerala. I have assured the Kerala Health Minister of all possible support from the Central government. We are also in touch with wildlife department to seek their help for subjecting the bats for testing of the virus. Everything that is need to been done is in already process."

Brides dressed in red attires were seen performing the wedding rituals as per Hindu tradition at a ceremony. Due to thunderstorms, many trees and electric poles fell down on National Highway 26. Police along with the help of locals removed trees and debris from the streets. New Delhi, June 04 (ANI): Microsoft has reportedly started testing its dual-screen Surface device that has been under development from two years. According to The Verge, Microsoft held an all-hands event for its devices team where it showed a video of new Surface devices and a dual-screen prototype, codenamed Centaurus. Microsoft is long rumoured to be working on 'pocketable' hardware and the dual-screen Surface fits just right. The company may launch it in the next six months. When launched, Centaurus will also be one of the first Window Lite devices, running a lightweight version of its Windows OS.
Moradabad (UP), June 04 (ANI): Students of an engineering college in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad claimed to have invented a sandal-drone security system equipped with GPS technology for women safety. Students also said that this sandal gives electric shock and women can use it for their self-defence. If sandal is being used in an alarming situation, it will directly send user's location to the police. While speaking to ANI, one of the students said, "This system is equipped with a sandal that gives electric shock that can be used for self-defence, it will directly send user's location to the police. Once a distress signal is sent, a drone will fly towards the user using the GPS tracker, it will sound an alarm, so that people who are in nearby, can come forward to help. The drone will also record a video that will help police in their investigation later on."
Coimbatore (TN), June 04 (ANI): Farmers staged silent protest holding coconut shell around their necks. They protested against a private coconut shell ash making company situated at Chettipalayam village outskirts of Coimbatore on Monday. Farmers alleged that it creates air pollution and dust pollution in and around farmlands in that area. They also alleged that this coconut shell ash making company exports shell ash to the United States and other countries. Farmers demanded the district administration's inspection in this regard and also urged them to close the factory immediately.

Amritsar (Punjab), Jun 03 (ANI): Regarding the 35th anniversary of Operation Blue Star, a Police Department meeting was held in Amritsar, where instructions were made to ensure strict security arrangements throughout the state. This meeting was chaired by Police Commissioner SS Srivastva.
