Kolkata, Jun 05 (ANI): While addressing a public gathering in Kolkata on Wednesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wished Eid-ul-Fitr to the people of West Bengal. In her speech, she hit out at Oppositions and said, "Tyaag ka naam hai Hindu, Imaan ka naam hai Musalman, Pyaar ka naam hai Isaai, Sikhon ka naam hai Balidan. Ye hai hamara pyaara Hindustan. Iski raksha humlog karenge. Jo humse takraega wo choor choor ho jaega. Ye hamara slogan hai". She further added, "There is nothing to be scared. Muddai Lakh bura chahe to kya hota hai, wahi hota hai jo manzoor-e-khuda hota hai. Sometimes when the sun rises, its rays are very harsh but later it fades away. Don't be scared, the faster they captured EVMs, the quicker they will go away."
Srinagar (J and K), Jun 05 (ANI): A massive clash erupted after Eid prayers in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Wednesday. Stones were pelted at security forces near Jamia Masjid. Stone pelters were seen wearing mask at the time of incident. The posters supporting terrorist Zakir Musa and UN designated terrorist Masood Azhar were seen in the area.

While speaking to ANI, she said, "Because of increasing pollution we have initiated a step to plant a sapling. On Rahul Gandhi's birthday also we will plant saplings and inform and involve Delhi people to do the same." Bhola Singh said, "While celebrating festivals it should be seen that it doesn't cause inconvenience to the others. Hindus celebrate Holi, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and the entire country celebrates that but no experiences inconvenience due to our festivals. If there is inconvenience due to someone's festival of any religion, it should not be done. A place has been designated for expressing your devotion, roads should not be blocked. If it happens it is wrong, action should be taken."

New Delhi, June 05 (ANI): Researchers at the University of British Columbia have claimed that quality of sleep, and not quantity, is related to better health in teens. The study published in the journal Preventive Medicine, looked at 3,104 students in British Columbia aged 13 to 17 over a period of two years. "Chronic, low-quality sleep was associated with poorer health outcomes among young British Columbia students," said study author Annalijn Conklin. "Kids who regularly had trouble falling or staying asleep were almost two and half times as likely to report sub-optimal or less than excellent health, compared to those who did not," Conklin added. "Even if these teens had difficulty falling asleep just one night a week, if that was a regular occurrence over two years, it really seemed to affect their overall health," explained Conklin. "What was particularly interesting was that the relationship between chronic, poor-quality sleep and health outcome was stronger in the boys than it wa
Bengaluru, June 05 (ANI): A massive monolithic statue of Vishwaroopa Mahavishnu, weighing 300-tonnes, was brought to a temple. The statue, which is 64-feet-tall, will be installed in the premises of Kothandaramaswamy Temple in Viveknagar area of Bengaluru. Upon the arrival of the statue on a large truck, people in large number gathered at the spot to get a glimpse of the structure and to offer their prayers to the almighty.

To help make it easier, Amazon is introducing a new AI feature called Live Mode on the Android app that uses the front-facing camera on a user's smartphone to virtually let them try on different shades of lipstick, Engadget reports. The Live Mode feature is available to users only in the US and Japan. It will be extended to the iOS platform later this year.
