Indore (MP), May 31 (ANI): A massive fire broke out at a power house in Madhya Pradesh's Indore. Fire tenders reached the spot to douse the flames. Reason behind the fire is yet to be known. Electricity connections in the city got affected.
New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Google Chrome enterprise users will be unaffected by the company's proposed Manifest V3 for the browser extensions that would stop ad-blockers from working. Chrome software security engineer Chris Palmer explained in a tweet that the new declarative Net Request API is not going to break content blockers, Engadget reports. Google further said that blocking will be available to enterprise users of Chrome who will be able to block unwanted content as they do now.
New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Famed for his austere way of living, newly-elected MP from Balasore, Pratap Chandra Sarangi stole the show on Thursday at the swearing-in ceremony of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Council of Ministers, of which he was a part. The crowd cheered and gave Sarangi a standing ovation just before he was administered the oath as the Minister of State by President Ram Nath Kovind. Speaking to ANI, Sarangi said: "I am overwhelmed. Guwahati (Assam), May 30 (ANI): Md. Sanaullah, an ASI of Border Police, was declared as a 'foreigner' and was sent to detention centre. The incident took place on May 29 after a Foreigners' Tribunal in Assam declared him as a foreigner. He had also served in Army for 30 years, was designated as Captain. He was also conferred a medal by President of India for his service. Md. Azmal Haq, retired Army officer and Md. Sanaullah's relative said, "This is a conspiracy hatched by some Border Police personnel. They submitted false information about him that he was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and also that he doesn't know how to read and works as a labourer".
Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir), May 31 (ANI): The Indian Army organised an 'iftar' party during holy month of Ramadan. It was organised in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch yesterday. Large number of people marked their presence in the 'iftar' party. During the ongoing sacred month of Ramadan, Muslims observe fast from dawn to dusk for about 30 days. They eat 'sehri' (a pre-dawn meal) and break their day-long fast with 'iftar' in the evening.
New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Two ministers of state were in a hurry while taking oath of office of secrecy at the swearing-in of the Modi government and President Ram Nath Kovind had to halt them in their tracks and correct them. The ministers were Mansukh L Mandaviya and Faggan Singh Kulaste who did not repeat "I" before starting the text of the oath. They straight away started with their names and the President interrupted on both the occasions and insisted on their sying "I" before proceeding with the rest of their oath. Similarly, in the case of G Krishan Reddy, a first-time member from Secunderabad, made a mistake in reading the Hindi text of the oath. Kovind asked him to repeat the part of the oath that said, "Vidhi ke anusaar, nyay krunga" (Will do justice in accordance with the law). Reddy also completed his oath with "Bharat Mata Ki Jai".

New Delhi, Mar 31 (ANI): New study found that symptoms of concussions like loss of balance, hazy comprehension, sleep disturbance and ability to walk straight could be reversed by a therapy, magnetic stimulation. According to the study published in the 'Journal of Neurotrauma', magnetic stimulation that uses a laptop-style device for 20 minutes per day improved the ability of rodents with a concussion to walk in a straight line, navigate a maze, run on a wheel, and perform cognitive tests. "The beauty of this therapy is not only that it is effective, but that it is non-invasive, easy to use and cost-effective," said professor Changiz Taghibiglou, who led the research. The team also found evidence that Low-Frequency Magnetic Simulation could potentially protect the brain from future degeneration, a risk following serious concussions.

He also said that he did not want the ministry just for the sake of it. Kumar, however, said this would not strain the JDU relations with the BJP as it was not a "big issue" for him. "They wanted only one person from JDU in the cabinet, so it would have been just a symbolic participation. We informed them that it is okay and we don't need it. It is not a big issue; we are fully in NDA and not upset at all. We are working together, no confusion," Kumar told media in Delhi.
