Amritsar (Punjab), May 09 (ANI): Union Minister for Shipping and Water Resources Nitin Gadkari held a press conference in Amritsar and said, "Pakistan is continuously supporting terrorists. If Pakistan doesn't stops terrorism, we won't have any other option but to stop river water to Pakistan. So India has started internally studying it. That water will go to Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan". He further added, "Water is going to Pakistan from 3 rivers, we don't want to stop that. But the basis of water treaty between India and Pakistan were peaceful relations and friendship which have completely vanished. So we are not bound to follow this treaty".
Patna (Bihar), May 09(ANI): While speaking to reporters, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "I have said earlier also, there is a standard of Prime Minister's position. Day by day he (PM Modi) is lowering the standard of that position. The comments which are being passed on former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, we condemn it. We have said that BJP is dangerous for our Constitution. They are also trying to finish the reservation system in the country. Purulia (West Bengal), May 09 (ANI): While addressing a public meeting in WB's Purulia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit back at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. PM Modi said "I got to know that 'didi' wanted to slap me, but I have always respected you (Mamata Banerjee), your slap will become blessing to me. (Mujhe bataya gaya hai ki yahan Didi ne kahan hai ki woh Modi ko thapad maarna chahti hain. Didi 'o' Mamata Didi mein toh aapko didi kehta hun, aapka aadar karta hun, aapka thapad bhi mere liye ashirwaad ban jaayega, woh bhi khalunga)". On Tuesday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee demonstrated how she would like to give Prime Minister Narendra Modi a "tight slap of democracy".

New Delhi, May 09 (ANI): Senior advocate HS Phoolka on Thursday made serious allegations on Congress party over 1984 anti-Sikh riots. He said that it was directly Rajiv Gandhi's office that was giving the instructions to kill the Sikhs in Delhi. He also added that the Army was not called on the instructions of Prime Minister's Office. "In 1984 when the Sikhs were being killed, the instruction was directly coming from PMO. The Army was not called on the instruction of the PMO," said Phoolka. The senior advocate also alleged that due to the sheer power of the then government, the evidences were suppressed.

Bankura (WB), May 09 (ANI): While addressing a public meeting in West Bengal's Bankura, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised Mamata Banerjee for not holding meeting with him regarding Cyclone Fani. South 24 Parganas (West Bengal), May 09 (ANI): Political intolerance has come to light in West Bengal where one local BJP leader Gobinda Mistry was allegedly beaten up by TMC goons. BJP leader Gobinda Mistry was severely injured. Local people rescue him and send him to the hospital. He is under treatment at Basanti Rural Hospital. BJP workers have lodged a complaint regarding the incident. Investigation is underway, but no one has been arrested yet.

Kathmandu (Nepal), May 09 (ANI): A total of 5,000 kg garbage collected from Mount Everest by a clean-up team deployed by Nepali authorities on 14th April. The Nepal Army also is lending a hand in clean-up campaign launched on Mt Everest and it is being monitored by Tourism Department of Nepal. Some of the wastes has been collected and airlifted and the collection of the leftover garbage is underway. It will be sent out for recycling. Several organizations and commercial groups have also funded the clean-up campaign. > >
