Afghanistan thanks India for its crucial support in training Afghan defence forces

New Delhi, Mar 12 (ANI): Afghanistan Envoy to India, Farid Mamundzay on Afghan National Defence and Security Forces day thanked Government of India for providing defence and security assistance. "As most reliable regional partner and largest regional contributor to Afghanistan's development I'd like to thank Govt of India for providing much-needed defence and security assistance by helping us with military hardware and providing much-needed training opportunities to many of our cadets at the finest. Indian military academies along with some of the finest Indian military officers," said Farid Mamundzay.

Mamata Banerjee responding well to treatment: SSKM Hospital

Kolkata, Mar 11 (ANI): Speaking on today's medical health condition of Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, who was injured in Nandigram incident yesterday, IPGMER and SSKM Hospital Dr M Bandopadhya on March 11 said, "6-member medical team re-examined CM again. She's responding well to treatment, improvement in her health condition. However, she still have symptoms related to bone injuries of her left ankle for which she continues to receive treatment." CM Banerjee on March 10 suffered injury after being allegedly 'pushed' by few persons in Nandigram. She's currently admitted at IPGMER and SSKM Hospital in Kolkata.

150 NSG commandos inoculated against COVID-19

TMC workers stage protest in Bengal over alleged attack on CM Mamata

Initial examination suggests severe bony injuries in her left ankle, foot and bruises, injuries in right shoulder, forearm and neck. CM complained of chest pain, breathlessness since the incident. She is kept under close watch for 48 hours. Honourable CM is presently traumatized and is under close observation."
