Abu Dhabi (UAE)/ Dubai (UAE), May 07 (ANI): Repatriation flight of Air India Express is all set to fly back to India. The flights will mark the start of repatriation process to bring stranded Indians home. Thorough scanning is being done also being done at Dubai airport in view of coronavirus situation. "I am very pleased that the process of repatriation of overseas Indians is beginning today from United Arab Emirates (UAE), a place where we have the largest diaspora of Indians in the world," said Pavan Kapoor, Ambassador of India to UAE. "I thank all the authorities, I am very happy as I am going back home during my pregnancy period," said a stranded Indian.
New Delhi, May 07 (ANI): Delhi All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Director Randeep Guleria said that as per the modelling data and the way India's COVID-19 cases are increasing, it is likely that peak can come in June and July. Lucknow (UP), May 07 (ANI): Reviewing the situation of stranded migrants, Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish K Awasthi informed that around 51,371 have reached UP so far. "Today 43 trains have arrived in the state carrying migrant laborers. With the help of these trains, 51,371 workers arrived from different states. Today, 13 more trains will come before 12 pm, about 15,500-15,600 laborers will come. We have given permission for about 43 trains," said Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish K Awasthi.

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), May 07 (ANI): Rose cultivation becomes difficult for farmers in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur amid coronavirus pandemic. Flower farmers are facing problems due to lockdown and lack of labourers. Their businesses have slumped amid COVID-19 lockdown. While speaking to ANI, one of the farmers, Nawal said, "We could not get labourers and items like pesticides, so plants are getting damaged. I have suffered loss of Rs 4-4.5 lakhs. It will take three months for plants to recover." There are total 3138 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 35, 902 with 1783 deaths in India.
Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), May 07 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in Amaravati on May 07, the DGP of Andhra Pradesh, Damodar Goutam Sawang spoke on Visakhapatnam gas leak tragedy. He said, "8 persons have died till now in the gas leak mishap. Right now gas has been neutralized. One of the antidotes is drinking a lot of water. Around 800 were shifted to hospital, many have been discharged. Investigation will be carried out to see how this happened." "Gas leak is an accident. They were strictly following all the protocols. Investigation is underway. Forensic teams are also being sent to the spot," Andhra Pradesh DGP added.

New Delhi, May 07 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in the national capital on May 07, the DG of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), SN Pradhan spoke on Visakhapatnam gas leak tragedy. He said, "This incident was reported by the local population at around 02:30 am late in the night. They faced throat and skin related issues with some toxic smell. NDRF was informed at 05:00-05:30 am in the morning. They reached within half an hour and started the operation." "Gas leakage has died down and most of the operation is now limited to evacuation and treatment of people in the hospital. 800-1000 people were admitted to the hospital," NDRF DG added.
Mumbai, May 07(ANI): Amid lockdown 3.0, migrant workers are walking on Mumbai-Nashik highway towards their native places from Mumbai. One of the migrants, Preeti Kumari, who is going to her home in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur said, "I don't have money. How will I feed my child here? We have to walk, we don't have any other option." Another migrant worker said that bus drivers are asking for us Rs 2-3 lakh for 25-30 people.

He said, "After gas leakage was reported in the factory, lockdown procedure was initiated immediately. Local administration was informed. Gas was neutralized to harmless liquid form. But, little gas escaped factory premises and affected people in nearby areas." "Company managing this has to be responsible for gas leak mishap. They will have to come and explain us exactly what all protocols were followed, and what all were not followed. Accordingly, criminal action will be taken against them," Industries Minister added.

He said, "The total number of positive cases in Delhi stands at 5532, of which 428 cases were reported yesterday. Total 12 patients are on ventilators. The doubling rate of COVID-19 in Delhi is 11 days now." He also said that now the people have to learn to live with COVID-19.

He met patients at King George Hospital of Visakhapatnam. There have been seven casualties so far in the gas leak tragedy. The incident took place at LG Polymers industry in RR Venkatapuram village of Visakhapatnam.
Chennai (TN), May 07(ANI): DMK Chief MK Stalin held protest outside his residence in Chennai against State Government's decision to allow opening of state-run liquor shops from May 07. The liquor stores are opened across the state except in COVID-19 containment zones. The state has so far reported 4058 COVID-19 cases along with 33 deaths.
Ludhiana (Punjab), May 07(ANI): Disappointed by state government's decision of opening liquor shops, free milk supply was organised by Youth Akali Dal members outside a liquor shop in Ludhiana. He said, "Mandir, Masjid are closed and liquor stores are open, what can be worse than this. Punjab is known for milk, curd and butter not for drugs. They made promises to remove all forms of drugs from Punjab and on the other hand they open up liquor stores." He said through this initiative, we are giving free milk to everyone.

To avoid overcrowding and chaos, police has taken multiple precautionary measures. Barricades were put up outside wine shops in Pamban to avoid the chaos. Strict checking of vehicles was underway by police in Chennai's Vandalur. Policemen were seen on duty in Madurai's Periyar Bus stand too.
Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), May 07 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, the Police Commissioner of Visakhapatnam City, Rajeev Kumar Meena said, "Gas has been neutralized. NDRF team has reached the spot. Maximum impact was in about 1-1.5 kms but smell was till 2-2.5 kms. 100-120 people have been shifted to hospital. Total three persons have died in the incident. An FIR has been registered." A chemical gas leakage has been reported in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam on May 07. The incident took place at LG Polymers industry in RR Venkatapuram village of Visakhapatnam. According to the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), 3 persons, including one child were declared dead due to the chemical gas leakage. People were being taken to hospital after they complained of burning sensation in eyes and breathing difficulties. Police, fire tenders and ambulances reached the spot.
