Farmers and cattle-breeders are important part of economy: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), February 12 (ANI): Addressing a meeting with delegation of farmers, cattle-breeders, dairy union and representatives of tribal area during a pre-budget dialogue at the State Secretariat in Jaipur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the communities are important part of the state's economy and the GDP. As the state government upholds the commitment towards prosperity and progress of the farmers, the upcoming budget would focus on their aspirations and expectations. Suggestions from the farming communities would be of great value for the government while preparing the budget proposals for the next financial year, CM added. Rajasthan CM also underlined that, "Steps are being taken to make sure that the farmers get fair price of their crop produces, proper quality seeds and fertilizers on time and adopt new techniques and innovations of progressive farming." VP Venkaiah Naidu meets his Vietnamese counterpart

New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): Vice President Venkaiah Naidu met his Vietnamese counterpart Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on February 12. The meeting was held in New Delhi. WHO officially names coronavirus as 'Covis-19'

New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): In a recent announcement by World Health Organisation (WHO), coronavirus, responsible for thousands of deaths across the world has been named officially. 'Covis-19' has been decided as the new name for Novel Coronavirus. The death toll from the deadly outbreak in mainland China has risen to 1,113, the number of confirmed cases has reached 44,653, the Chinese state health committee said on February 12. A day before, the death count was 1,016 and the number of confirmed cases 42,638. The virus has spread to at least 24 countries, sickened more than 42,000 people worldwide.

Shiv Sena workers protest against Shivaji statue's removal in Madhya Pradesh

Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh), Feb 12 (ANI): The workers of Shiv Sena and other organisations blocked Chhindwara-Nagpur Highway on February 11.
