Mumbai, Nov 23 (ANI): A joint press conference held by NCP-Shiv Sena after Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister and NCP's Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy CM on November 23. Speaking at press conference NCP Chief Sharad Pawar said, "Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP leaders came together to form Government. We had the numbers. We had our official numbers- 44, 56 and 54 MLAs with us who had supported the govt. Several independent were also with us and we had numbers around 170. Ajit Pawar's decision is against the party line and is indiscipline. No NCP leader or worker is in favour of an NCP-BJP government".

No govt can run for long with party like Shiv Sena, NCP knew this: Sushil Modi

Patna (Bihar), Nov 23 (ANI): BJP-NCP allied in Maharashtra to form government and BJP's Devendra Fadnavis took oath as state's Chief Minister while NCP's Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Minister. On the other hand, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that NCP is not in support of Ajit Pawar's decision while Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut also opposed the newly-formed government. Speaking on it, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Modi said, "Shiv Sena's culture in Maharashtra is same as RJD's in Bihar. Like there are ruffians and goons in RJD, it is the same in Shiv Sena. No government can run for long with a party like Shiv Sena, people in Nationalist Congress Party knew this."

English lecturer held for allegedly molesting female student in Odisha's Mayurbhanj
