To make things easier, researchers have created a mobile-sensing system using smartphones, fitness bracelets and a custom app. The system works by monitoring the physical, emotional and behavioural well-being of workers to classify high and low performers. The new mobile-sensing system opens the way for consumer technology to help employees optimise their performance while also allowing companies to assess how individuals are doing in their jobs. The approach can be both a compliment and an alternative to traditional performance tools like interviews and self-evaluations. Srinagar (JandK), July 08 (ANI): Governor of Jammu and Kashmir (JandK) Satya Pal Malik visited a camp in Srinagar's Pantha Chowk on Sunday. New Delhi, July 08 (ANI): A girl committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at a hotel in Delhi's Paharganj area on Sunday. She allegedly had a fight with her male friend who was staying with her at the hotel. "Both were residents of Tilak Nagar in Delhi. The girl's name was Rosy and she was 22-year-old. Preliminary investigation has revealed that there was a dispute between the girl and the boy after which the boy left the room. During this while, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself. The hotel staff informed us about the incident," Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of South East Delhi Mandeep Randhawa informed the media. "We have sent the body for post-mortem examination and investigating the reason for the suicide. As of now, the girl's friend is under arrest," he added.

Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh), July 08 (ANI): Several people tied with a rope and made to chant 'Gau mata ki jai' in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa on Sunday. They were being tied on accusation of carrying cattle in their vehicles. While speaking to ANI on this matter, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Khandwa, Shivdayal Singh said, "A case has been registered under the relevant sections, there were around 7-8 pick-up vehicles, they have been brought to the station. Case has also been registered against those who made them chant." The local police have booked at least 16 people for allegedly smuggling cows after the villagers chained them together on the road.
Surat (Gujarat), July 08 (ANI): Locals took out an 'Asthi Yatra' in Gujarat's Surat for the 22 children who lost their lives in a major fire at coaching center 'Takshashila Arcade' in Sarthana area on May 24. Udalguri (Assam), July 08 (ANI): In a spine-chilling incident reported from Assam's Udalguri district on Sunday, a child was saved from being sacrificed by his own family. A highly educated family on the advice of a fake seer tried to sacrifice a child after performing naked prayers in their home's temple. Two villagers got a hang of what was going on inside the home, so they informed the police and fire brigade who came just in time to rescue the child. But the family got violent on their arrival and tried to attack them with sharp weapons. The police had to open fire for getting the situation under control. The head of the family Jadab Sahariya and his son Pulkesh Sahariya got injured in the fire. The latter succumbed to his injuries in the Guwahati Medical College.
