Amid COVID lockdown poor people are finding it difficult to earn their livelihood. People thanked government for supporting them in the hard time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 07 announced free ration to 800 million people till Diwali.
Thane (Maharashtra), June 30 (ANI): A fire that broke out in residential area in JandK's Ramban on June 29 has been doused. Indian Air Force Mi-17 V5 helicopters equipped with Bambi buckets were launched to facilitate firefighting operations. The fire has been successfully extinguished. 12 houses have been gutted in the fire and almost 32 families affected. No casualties have been reported. Reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.

In India, Covid-19 cases with variants of concern rose from 10.31% of total infections in May to 51% till June 20. And it includes the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta variants. These variants have been traced in 174 districts of 35 states and Union Territories, with the maximum reported from Maharashtra, Delhi, Punjab, Telangana, West Bengal and Gujarat. Pulwama (JandK), June 28 (ANI): Terrorists shot dead a former special police officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and his wife at their home at Hariparigam village in Pulwama district, as per the Kashmir Police on June 27. A tweet by the Kashmir Zone Police read, "#Terrorists barged into the house of SPO Fayaz Ahmad of Hariparigam Awantipora and fired #indiscriminately. In this #terror incident, he along with his wife and daughter received #critical gunshot injuries. Fayaz Ahmad #succumbed to his injuries. Area cordoned off. Search going on." New Delhi, June 28 (ANI): The recently leaked renders of the Galaxy Buds 2 suggest that the next iteration of Samsung's earbuds will look pretty similar to Google's Pixel Buds. According to The Verge, a May filing with the FCC showed the earbuds would come in a white case with rounded edges. The new images confirm previous reports that the buds will come in four different colors black, green, purple, and white. The cases in the new renders show each one will have a white exterior, while the internal color will match the buds. There aren't a lot of other details available yet, including price, but the new renders show that the Galaxy Buds will have two microphones for improved noise reduction, and their in-ear design will include silicon tips, much like the Galaxy Buds Pro. Panchkula (Haryana), June 26 (ANI): Ahead of tractor rally, farmers gathered near Gurudwara Nada Sahib in Panchkula on June 26. Farmers will head towards the Governor's residence to submit a memorandum to seek repealing of Centre's farm laws. Panchkula DCP Mohit Handa expressed hope that rally will be conducted without hassle. "We have enough force to tackle any situation. We will try to deal with the situation peacefully.
