New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): Defence expert SP Sinha on September 16 shared his views on over 2050 incidents of unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan in 2019 in which 21 Indians lost their lives. He said that Pakistan is totally obsessed with India and Jihad and infiltrating terrorists inside India is its only objective. He added that the Indian Army and security forces are capable enough to neutralise any infiltrator. Recently, Ministry of External Affairs highlighted the concerns of 'unprovoked ceasefire violation,' 'cross border infiltration' and 'targeting of Indian civilians.'
Pilibhit (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 15 (ANI): Two Samajwadi Party (SP) workers were injured after chaos broke out on September 15. Violence took place after workers jostled to meet SP leader Akhilesh Yadav after his press conference. A glass was also broken during the violence.
New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): Supreme Court will hear the petition filed by senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Article 370 on September 16. Speaking on his petition in SC on Article 370, Ghulam Nabi Azad said, "The petition is in my personal capacity, as a residence and as a Member of Parliament from Jammu and Kashmir. I would like to know the plight of those lakhs of people, it is on humanitarian basis, nothing to do with politics."
Chennai, Sep 15 (ANI): Rajiv Gandhi assassination case convict, Nalini was sent back to women's prison in Vellore, on September 15. Nalini was out on parole for 51 days. Madras High Court had granted her parole to make arrangements for her daughter's marriage.

Thane (Maharashtra), Sep 15 (ANI): While addressing a public meeting on the abrogation of Article 370 in Maharashtra's Thane BJP working president JP Nadda said that there will be delimitation before election in Jammu and Kashmir. "JandK has been made a Union Territory but they have been given the powers of a legislature. There will be elections, but before that there will be delimitation, ST seats will be reserved for Gujjars and Bakarwals in both Valley and Jammu."

Shivamogga (Karnataka), Sep 15 (ANI): A CCTV camera showed a leopard entering in the residential area. The leopard entered a house and took away the owner's dog in Thirthahalli of Karnataka's Shivamogga district, on September 15.
Godavri (AP), Sep 15 (ANI): In a major tragedy, 11 people died on Sunday afternoon when a tourist boat carrying 61 persons onboard capsized in the Godavari River near Devipatnam in Andhra Pradesh, the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) said. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia for bereaved families. According to an official statement, Reddy has directed National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Navy and ONGC helicopters to carry out the rescue operations on a war-footing. He has also ordered the ministers in the district to supervise the rescue works. District officials have been directed to suspend all the boating services in the region immediately and check for the license of the boats. The Chief Minister has also asked for a complete report on the incident.
New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): Union Minister Babul Supriyo took a dig at Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee saying that Alipore Central Jail in Kolkata has been specially painted by her to host the entire TMC leadership which is going to land behind bars very soon for their crimes. "I was travelling through Alipore area. Ironically, Didi has painted the Alipore prison in blue and white as she has a fondness of painting everything in her party's colour. We are suspecting that she has premonition that Alipur prison is going to be the official Karyalaya (party office) of TMC. They all are going to shift in the prison," said Supriyo while commenting on Banerjee's alleged protection to IPS officer, former Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajiv Kumar.

Nainital (Uttarakhand), Sep 15 (ANI): To combat the outbreak of dengue in Nainital, Uttarakhand administration has called a special team from Delhi for carrying out fogging operation.The Delhi biological medicine team with the help of state dengue department officials carried out fogging at several places of the city to prevent dengue taking an epidemic form.Speaking to media, Vineet Rawat, the trainer from Delhi said, "All the medicines which we are spraying are all eco-friendly and non-toxic. The state has also purchased 10 machines which will sprinkle biomedicine in the areas. We are also training the technical staff of the Malaria Department for spraying medicines by using these machines." Around 1,343 dengue cases have been reported from Uttarakhand till now.
Ranchi (Jharkhand), Sep 15 (ANI): In a bid to create awareness about clean environment, government of Jharkhand began tree plantation drive in Ranchi on September 15. Chief Minister Raghubar Das kick started plantation drive and planted tree saplings. During a plantation drive total 400 tree saplings were planted in a day. CM Raghubar Das interacted with the people during the plantation drive.

He said that there are enough jobs in the country but jobseekers in India are not qualified enough. Gangwar said, "Desh mein rozgaar ki kami nahi hai. New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): Delhi and its adjoining areas such as Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad on Sunday received light rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places, in the morning. According to Skymet, Delhi-NCR witnessed rain showers due to the low-pressure area persisting in the central parts of the country. At present, the weather system is over north Madhya Pradesh and its adjoining southwest Uttar Pradesh. According to the weather forecasting agency, Delhi-NCR will receive moderate rainfall on Monday (Sept 16) and Tuesday (Sept 17) due to certain weather activities. It should be noted that due to the rain the quality of air in Delhi has improved to 'satisfactory' level with Air Quality Index docking at 56.
