New Delhi, May 08 (ANI): Reviewing coronavirus situation in the country, the Health Ministry informed that ICMR will conduct trial in 21 hospitals, to assess safety and efficacy of convalescent plasma amid COVID-19. "Project PLACID - Phase-II Open-Label Randomised Controlled Trial of ICMR has received approval of COVID-19 National Ethics Committee. Under this, ICMR will conduct trial in 21 hospitals, to assess safety and efficacy of convalescent plasma," said Luv Aggarwal.
Aurangabad (Maharashtra), May 08 (ANI): At least 16 migrant labourers died after a freight train ran over them in Maharashtra's Aurangabad on May 08. New Delhi, May 08 (ANI): Air India's first flight that took off from Singapore on May 8 landed in Delhi, under Vande Bharat Mission. The flight brought back over 200 passengers. Flight was part of the Vande Bharat mission which started on May 7 to bring back stranded Indian nationals home amid the novel coronavirus-induced lockdown.

Hoshiarpur (Punjab), May 08 (ANI): Indian Air Force's MIG-29 aircraft, airborne on a training mission from an Air Force base near Jalandhar, met with an accident on May 8.
