People kept their belongings like helmets, bottles, to mark their positions in queues in Vasant Vihar area of Delhi. Delhi government has imposed 70% special corona tax on alcohol. Police personnel were seen controlling crowd near liquor shop at Delhi's Gole Market. There are total 5532 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Delhi.

16 dead after freight train runs over people in Aurangabad

Hyderabad (Telangana), May 08 (ANI): At least 32 Kenyan nationals repatriated by an Indigo's Special Passenger Relief Flight from Hyderabad. Special screening and safety measures were in place during the flight's handling as part of COVID 19 precautionary steps that included thermal screening, mandatory social distancing enforced through special queuing arrangements at all passenger processing points. All these passengers were serviced through a fully-sanitized Domestic Terminal of GMR Hyderabad International Airport.

Moderate exercise in middle, older age cuts time spent in hospital

New Delhi, May 08 (ANI): People aged 40-79 are at significantly lower risk of long or frequent hospital admissions if they do some form of physical activity, a new study suggests. According to the study, exercising regularly can cut 25-27 per cent of the risk of frequent hospital stays. Inactive participants in the study spent just over 4 days more in hospital over the next ten years than those who did at least some physical activity, whether for work or leisure. And similar results were observed 10 years later when the same participants were 50-90 years old. The researchers found that in the first ten years active participants were 25-27 per cent less likely than inactive participants to have more than 20 hospital days or more than 7 admissions per year with similar results over the subsequent ten years.

21 women e-rickshaw drivers resume services amid lockdown in Indore

The administration resumed their movements, in order to help health care workers commute amid coronavirus lockdown. Rekha, a-rickshaw driver, said, "This is being very helpful, as now I am able to earn some money for the livelihood ." "21 e-rickshaws are being operated by women drivers right now. If they demand for hand sanitiser, masks, hand gloves we'll provide them. Good option for health care workers who don't have a vehicle of their own and have to go for survey," said Nodal Officer of Indore, Dr Amit Malakar.

Gas fumes leak again from tanker at chemical plant in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), May 08 (ANI): The crucial chemical named PTBC (Para-tertiary butyl catechol) reached Visakhapatnam from Gujarat to neutralize the impact of the gas leak. Google Lens can now copy, paste handwritten notes to your computer

New Delhi, May 08 (ANI): Google has added a new feature to Google Lens that will now allow users to copy and paste handwritten notes from your phone to your computer with Lens, though it only works if your handwriting is neat enough.In order to use the new feature, you need to have the latest version of Google Chrome as well as the standalone Google Lens app on Android or the Google app on iOS. You'll also need to be logged in to the same Google account on both devices, The Verge reported.To use the feature, you simply need to point your camera at any handwritten text, highlight it on-screen, and select copy. You can then go to any document in Google Docs, hit edit, and then paste to paste the text.
