Surat (Gujarat), Mar 02 (ANI): 34 couples form different community tied the knot at a mass marriage ceremony in Surat on March 01. The marriage was organised by Shailesh Panseriya. The couples exchanged garlands and preformed marriage rituals. The event also saw distribution of helmets to the grooms to follow safety rules. People of different communities witnessed their wedding ceremony.
New Delhi, March 02 (ANI): Ahead of Supreme Court hearing on curative petition of one of the convicts, Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi has urged the top court to not further delay the execution of the perpetrators, who are scheduled to be hanged on March 03. "There are loop holes in our judiciary. It creates bad impact on society, but why there is delay of implementing Supreme Court's own judgement, I want to say to the Supreme Court, government that the way execution is being postpone the faith on judiciary is being eroded. I am fighting since 7 years 3 months, I want to say what was my daughter's mistake. I want to urge that without any delay execute them," Asha Devi told ANI.

On Feb 29, Hindu Sena has called off their Shaheen Bagh protest site clearance call. Protestors at Shaheen Bagh are sitting on dharna since mid-December to protest against the CAA, NPR and NRC.
Ghaziabad (UP), Mar 02 (ANI):Dismissed Army personnel identified as Jasbir Singh brutally attacked an Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Madan Singh Garbyal using cricket bat in Ghaziabad on Sunday. Official was attacked while he was walking in a park. Madan Singh received serious injuries and was admitted to ICU and now his life is out of danger. "The reason of the attack is yet to be ascertained. Attacker is being interrogated. He says that he was earlier dismissed from Army, it's being verified. He had also worked at some malls from where he was fired. He was currently unemployed," said Ghaziabad SSP Kalnidhi Naithani.

New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): Some of the health issues faced by a person in their 20s may lead to problems with thinking, memory skills and the brain's ability to properly regulate its blood flow as they grow older, new research suggests. Health issues such as smoking, high cholesterol or a high body mass index (BMI) in one's youth, may make them more likely to have a weak brain in older age. Studied for 30 years over the course, the team assessed cardiovascular health based on five factors -- smoking, BMI, blood pressure, total cholesterol and fasting blood glucose level. The researchers found that people with better cardiovascular health at the beginning of the study were more likely to have higher scores on the tests of thinking and memory skills 30 years later than those with worse cardiovascular health. New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): After rumours of panic and unrest in Delhi were dismissed by the city police, several people were detained by the authorities for spreading misinformation and hate speech, Delhi Police PRO MS Randhawa informed. "Some people have been detained for rumour-mongering and cases are being registered against them. Strict action will be taken against those who spread rumours and hate speech," Randhawa told ANI. Entry and exit gates of Tilak Nagar and several other metro stations were closed briefly after rumours of unrest floated over social media which were later dismissed by police.

In an official blog, Facebook announced that its 3D photos feature relied on dual-lens 'portrait mode' to offer immersive pictures. Now, the technology has been improved to deliver 3D structure to photos captured from single, rear-facing camera phones. To bring the capability to Android or iOS devices with standard single-lens cameras, Facebook used machine learning techniques to produce 3D Photos from any standard 2D picture. Apple iPhone 7 or higher, or any mid-range Android device can now try 3D Photos in the Facebook app.

A farmer said, "We have lost around 20 Percent on potatoes. The quality of potatoes has deteriorated. The crop of mustard is also in loss." The farmers are bearing around 20-30 percent loss. Scattered rains and thundershowers have occurred in several parts of North India.
Guwahati (Assam), Mar 01 (ANI): Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reacted over delimitation process in the state. The Finance Minister of the state said, "We hope that this delimitation ensures that political rights of indigenous communities of Assam are protected." "We want to see that we don't lose any seats when the delimitation report is published. Assam should be governed by indigenous people," the minister further said. He said that there should be a debate over the issue but opposition should not play politics over Delhi violence in the session.
