New Delhi, Feb 20 (ANI): Army Chief General MM Naravane cleared Indian Army's stand on Supreme Court's decision on permanent commission for women officers. General MM Naravane said that Indian Army does not discriminate any soldier based on religion, caste, creed, or gender. The Army Chief also talked about on new headquarters in New Delhi. He Said, "The proposed Thal Sena Bhawan will bring all Army HQ offices under one roof thereby improving working efficiency, while reducing carbon footprint and logistics requirements. It will also allow more family time for all soldiers tenanting peace posting at Delhi." While talking on Pakistan infiltration bids in border areas, General Naravane said, "We have been getting inputs. We have been able to foil (Pakistan Army's) BAT action attempts even before they have been able to launch them."

Around 800 students from over 20 schools, from primary, middle and senior categories in Delhi participated in painting competition. New Delhi, Feb 20 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices closed 0.37 per cent lower on Thursday as concerns over the impact of coronavirus on economic growth kept investors across the globe jittery. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said the epidemic has already disrupted economic growth in China and its spread to other countries can derail a fragile projected recovery in global economy this year. But the good news was recovery rates showing signs of improvement. Investors also awaited more clarity on US President Donald Trump's statement ahead of his India visit that the two countries are working on a major trade deal. The BSE S and P Sensex closed 153 points lower at 41,170 while the Nifty 50 slipped up by 45 points to 12,081. Sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty IT, FMCG, pharma and financial service in the red. Among stocks, pharma major Cipla slipped by 2.41 per cent to Rs 436.70 per share while FMCG giants Hindustan Lever and Nestle India closed 1.9

Speaking to ANI, Nikam said, "I do not know what the plan of ISI was. After 26/11 terror attacks, 10 ID cards were produced in the court in which one was of Kasab and others belonged to nine other attackers, who were killed."

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices ended four days of losing streak on Wednesday as worries about the coronavirus epidemic ebbed in Asian markets after a slight decline in the number of new cases. Investors hoped that officials will roll out more stimulus to support the world's second-largest economy. The BSE S and P Sensex closed 429 points or over 1 per cent higher at 41,323 while the Nifty 50 edged up by 138 points to 12,130. All other sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the green with Nifty pharma up by 2.32 per cent, FMCG by 1.47 per cent, metal by 1.34 per cent and realty by 1.12 per cent. Among stocks, Vodafone Idea jumped by more than 38 per cent to Rs 4.19 per share after some reports said the government is unlikely to invoke the company's bank guarantees.
