New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): DMK leader Tiruchi Siva and BJP working president JP Nadda remembered Arun Jaitley in Rajya Sabha. "Arun Jaitley was an ocean of knowledge, a master of vocabulary, a person of integrity. His performance on both the sides of this House is still remembered. He was so magnanimous in waiving off GST on sanitary napkins, considering the woes of poor women," said Tiruchi Siva. JP Nadda in RS said, "I pay tribute to Arun Jaitley. He was a multiphasic personality." The winter session of Parliament commenced on November 18 and will continue till December 13. 6 children die after truck trolley overturns in Bihar's Gopalganj

Gopalganj (Bihar), Nov 18 (ANI): At least six minor girls died after a tractor trolley overturned in Bihar's Gopalganj. Several children also got injured in the accident. Truck was carrying marbles. Children were grazing their goats when the incident took place.

After attending the first day of the Winter Session, he said that the opposition was even given the opportunity to raise the issues like home arrest of Farooq Abdullah then they have to raise voice He said that his party doesn't want to create any disruption on the ongoing issues rather they want debate. "When Opposition tried to raise the issue that we're starting the Parliament Session even when one of us, Farooq Abdullah isn't even there because he has been arrested, we weren't even given the opportunity to raise the issue. JNU students march towards Parliament over complete fee roll back demand stopped by police

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): Several students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) protested in the national capital on November 18 over demand of complete roll back of fee hike. Hundreds of students marched towards Parliament and later were stopped by police near Delhi's Safdarjung Tomb. Earlier, large numbers of security personnel also stopped JNU students at Delhi's Ber Sarai road today. Due to this protest, Section 144 has also been imposed near the Parliament and security has been beefed up.

No sewer connection charges till March 31, move will help to clean Yamuna: CM Kejriwal

Train service resumes between Srinagar-Banihal

Banihal (Jammu and Kashmir), Nov 18 (ANI): The train service between Srinagar and Banihal has resumed on Nov 18. The service is resumed almost after 104 days. Passengers hailed the resumed service. The train service in Kashmir was suspended on August 05 following the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A. Article 370 and 35A used to give special status to Jammu and Kashmir as a state.

Story of a stray dog on 'pilgrimage' to Sabarimala Temple

Chikkamagaluru (Karnataka), Nov 18 (ANI): Ayyappa devotees witnessed a unique experience during pilgrimage to Kerala's prominent Sabarimala Temple. During their devotional journey, the devotees found that a stray dog is following them. The group of 13 devotees considered it a devotional sign and started offering the dog food that they prepare for themselves. The Ayyappa devotees didn't notice the dog at first but during their journey the dog kept showing behind them. The devotees perform Sabarimala pilgrimage every year but this is one of a kind of experience for them. They started from Andhra Pradesh's Tirumala on October 31 and have reached Chikkamagaluru district's Kottigehara now. The devotees have walked 480 km so far. The dog sustained injuries on its paws a couple of times and was treated by local veterinarians. According to a devotee, "We didn't notice the dog at first.
