New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): In the latest development in INX Media money laundering case, Congress senior leader P. Chidambaram has been sent to judicial custody till November 13. The court has also rejected Enforcement Directorate's (ED) application, seeking Chidambaram's remand for one more day. Recently, Chidambaram moved Delhi High Court seeking an interim bail till November 04 on medical ground. Chidambaram is currently lodged in Tihar Jail in connection with the INX Media money laundering case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have been probing his role in the case.

Their life is in high risk when they go Kashmir or Srinagar garden to buy apples. A few days ago, two apple traders had also become the victim of terrorists attack in Shopian district. Bharuch (Gujarat), Oct 30 (ANI): Massive fire broke out at Arrow Greentech Ltd in Gujarat's Bharuch on October 30. At least 14 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the fire. No injuries and casualties have been reported so far. More details are awaited.

Delhi pollution levels have gone worse after Diwali festival. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appealed 'with folded hands' to the Haryana and Punjab governments to put an end to stubble burning, as a blanket of haze settled over Delhi and its neighbouring areas. Due to stubble burning, blanket of haze in the national capital has become a norm every winter. Despite a ban on stubble burning, farmers of Punjab continue to defy it due to a lack of financial incentives.

New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): India Meteorological Department Scientist D Kuldeep Srivastava on October 30 said that the national capital's air quality can improve as the wind will take away the pollution with it. "Wind speed can go up to 10-12 km/hr tomorrow, so air quality is likely to improve. Wind will pick up speed on November 02 and 03 and improve the air quality so dispersion of pollutants from Delhi-NCR will begin," said Srivastava.
Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Oct 30 (ANI): Kerala's capital city Thiruvananthapuram received rainfall and experienced strong winds on October 30 as India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued yellow alert for the district. Mumbai, Oct 30 (ANI): Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank depositors staged a protest at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. They demanded the money to be refunded as soon as possible. The protestors blamed RBI for the issue and chanted, "RBI chor hai' Last month, the RBI restricted the activities of the PMC Bank for six months and asked it not to grant or renew any loans and advances, make any investment or incur any liability, including borrowing of funds and acceptance of fresh deposits after an alleged fraud of Rs 4,355 crore came to light. The organisation had initially capped the deposit withdrawal at Rs 10,000 but later raised it to Rs 40,000. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized and identified movable and immovable assets worth more than Rs 3,830 crore owned by HDIL in connection with the case.

He interacted with women passengers in a Delhi bus in order to get feedback on free rides. While speaking to ANI, CM Kejriwal said, "Participation of women in workforce is 11 per cent. This step will make travelling easier for women. It is sad that opposition is criticising it. All good work should be appreciated." Women in Delhi are travelling for free in DTC buses as the initiative of free rides was began by Delhi government on October 29.

He said, "This cowardly attack is a shocking incident. It must be condemned by everyone, it's a terrorist attack. They are enemies of humanity and nation. I'm more pained because victims were from Murshidabad." "West Bengal and Central Government should extend assistance to the victims' families because their bread earner is gone. Their deaths will have a cascading and detrimental effect on their families' daily lives. The loss is unbearable and unforgettable," he added.

After visiting Srinagar, European Union Parliament Member Kosma Zlotowski said, "There is a very complex situation here, political situation, social situation. The beginning has been plenty years ago and the government tries to solve the problem and I hope it will toggled. There are tensions we see it without any glass so how to solve it this is very big problem and I hope government of India will do it okay." It's clear from the amount of security that is needed for us that there are security issues on the ground. We are supportive of what the Indian government is doing."
Srinagar, Oct 30 (ANI): A delegation of 27 European Union (EU) parliamentarians is visiting Jammu and Kashmir. Their visit will give them a clear view of the development and governance priorities of the JandK region. While speaking to ANI on his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, EU member Nicolaus Fest said, "I think if you let in European Union parliamentarians, you should also let in opposition politicians from India. So, there is some kind of disbalance and the government should somehow address it." This is the first visit by an international group in JandK since the Centre's move to abrogate Article 370.
Murshidabad (West Bengal), Oct 30 (ANI): Five labourers were shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam on October 29. One person was been critically injured in the terrorist attack. The families and friends of the five labourers mourned their death in West Bengal's Murshidabad yesterday. The attack happened on a day a delegation of parliamentarians from the European Union is visiting Kashmir to talk to locals and ask them about their experience after the abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir's special status under Article 370 of the Constitution in August. Since the Centre's decision on Article 370, terrorists have been targeting truckers and labourers, mainly who have come to the Valley from outside Kashmir.
Ajmer (Rajasthan), Oct 30 (ANI): A statue of Mahatma Gandhi was vandalised by two miscreants in Rajasthan's Ajmer on October 28. The incident took place in Nasirabad area of Ajmer and was captured in a CCTV camera. The culprits were identified as Yash and Ankur. They have been arrested by the police on October 29. While speaking to ANI, a police official said, "We will present them before court and will also ask for their remand. Further investigation is underway in this matter."
