Journalists in PoK protest against attack on journalists by security forces

Muzaffarabad (PoK), Oct 23 (ANI): Journalists in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) protested against Pakistani security forces outside Muzaffarabad Press Club on October 23. Several journalists were injured on Tuesday after police raided a press club during the media briefing by Jammu Kashmir People's National Alliance (JKPNA). JKPNA has announced a protest in front of the Pakistan High Commission in London on Thursday to raise their voice against attack on press.

CM Gehlot promises revamped single-window system for industries by year's end

The protest was held against alleged attack on students who were staging a 'peaceful' protest in front of Vice Chancellor (VC) Najma Akhtar's office. Students claimed that people from administration brutally thrashed students. Two bird smugglers arrested in Ghaziabad, 5 owls recovered

Ghaziabad (UP), Oct 23 (ANI): Ghaziabad Police arrested two bird smugglers and recovered five owls of rare species from their possession. Acting on a tip-off, the duo was nabbed before they could sell owls to a buyer who was planning to sacrifice owls in the name of social malpractice. SP Ghaziabad City, Manish Mishra said, "We got the information about two people who are involved in bird smuggling. We have arrested them and seized five owls of rare species from them. There is social malpractice in which owls are sacrificed on Diwali by exorcists. They were arrested before they could deliver owls to a buyer. We are tracing the buyer." Later, the police handed over owls to the Forest Department officials.
