New Delhi, Oct 11 (ANI): While speaking to ANI on abrogation of Article 370, the Minister of State (MoS) in Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Dr Jitendra Singh said, "In last two months, I have travelled across the country, I can say the decision to abrogate Article 370 has been celebrated by each and every Indian." "Documentation like this by a child, I think is a vindication for all of us," he added. On October 09, Dr Jitendra Singh released a book on Article 370 in the national capital which was written by a 14-year-old school girl Ayanna Kohli.

They protested over the death of a youth, Pushpendra Yadav, in an alleged police encounter in UP's Jhansi. Stressed pregnancy might hinder infants' brain development

New Delhi, Oct 11 (ANI): While stress is at no time considered healthy, maternal stress during or even before pregnancy can affect the infant's brain development, found a new study. The study looked at the relationship between maternal stress and brain development in 251 premature kids. Researchers found evidence for the impaired development of a white matter tract, the uncinate fasciculus, in babies whose mothers experience more stress in the prenatal period. These findings were published in the Journal Biological Psychiatry. A score of severity of stress was calculated based on how many stressors they experienced as well as how severe those stressors were. This is what was related to the baby's brain. Kozhikode serial murder case: Police requests court for custody of accused

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Oct 10 (ANI): The crime branch of the Kerala Police requested to court to send the accused to police custody in Kozhikode serial murder case. While talking about recent developments on case, Kerala DGP Loknath Behera said, "If we have 6 cases, we will expand the team. We have also requested the court to send the accused to police custody. 'RSS' worker family murder: Baijayant Panda demands strict action against perpetrator

Delhi Police busts gang of organised pickpockets

New Delhi, Oct 11 (ANI): Delhi Police busted a fully organised gang of pickpockets who used to pickpocket mobile phones from moving Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus. Police have apprehended four members of the gang including the mastermind Binod alias Balli. 108 mobile phones and two country made pistols have also seized from the accused persons. Three members of the gang used to board the bus routing Badarpur and pickpocket mobile phones from the people while one member of the gang drives auto with the bus to give the three members a cover.
