3 Hizbul-Mujahideen terrorists arrested in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar

Kishtwar (Jammu and Kashmir), Sep 23 (ANI): Three Hizbul-Mujahideen terrorists were arrested in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar on September 23. They have been arrested in the case of killing RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and his PSO. Among these arrested people, one terrorist identified as Nisar Ahmad Sheikh. Sheikh was the part of conspiracy and was present during the killing of BJP leader Anil Parihar.

Phase 1-B of Jaipur Metro should complete early: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), September 23 (ANI): Construction of phase one-B of Jaipur Metro from Chandpol to Badi Chaupad should be completed soon. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot instructed the same in the review meeting organized at Chief Minister's office in Jaipur. In the meeting, CM Gehlot directed the officers to make efforts for upcoming phase and expansion of the Jaipur Metro. This will help to control the increasing traffic pressure in Jaipur and improved public transport would be available to the people. Chief Minister said, "Our previous government has given a gift of Metro as a new mode of transport to the people of Jaipur from Mansarovar to Chandpol by completing the Phase-A in record time. For us, it is a matter of pride as Jaipur was the only leading tier-two city in the country where a state government has started Metro service with its own resources".0020During the meeting, the Chief Minister also saw the detailed presentation of Phase-II of Metro between Sitapura to Ambabari.

Bengaluru National Law School students demand immediate appointment of new VC

Bengaluru, Sep 23 (ANI): Students of National Law School of India University (NLSIU) staged a protest on September 23 in Bengaluru. They are demanding immediate appointment of Vice-Chancellor. According to a student, a 5-member committee was constituted to appoint the new Vice-Chancellor; the committee also appointed the new VC but college administration appointed a senior faculty member as an acting VP. Students are also alleging that the college administration is not ready to listen to their grievances.

Islam not bad but wrong interpretation is affecting people: Army Chief

Chennai, Sep 23 (ANI): Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on September 23 shared his views on Islam. He said that Islam is not a bad religion but the manner in which it is interpreted is affecting the people. 10 dead, several injured in road accident in Assam's Demow

Sibsagar (Assam), Sep 23 (ANI): At least 10 people died in a collision between two vehicles in Assam. The incident took place on NH-37 in Demow, Sibsagar district on September 23. An ambulance was rushed to the spot after the incident was reported. Further investigation is underway.

Around 50,000 temples closed over years in Kashmir, survey ordered: Kishan Reddy

Bengaluru, Sep 23 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Home, G Kishan Reddy on Monday said that a committee has set up to survey number of closed schools in Kashmir Valley and will reopen them. He also ordered to survey around 50,000 temples that were closed over the years in the Valley. While addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, he said, "We have set up committee to survey number of closed schools in Kashmir Valley and will reopen them. Around 50,000 temples were closed over the years, of which some were destroyed, and idols were defaced. We have ordered survey of such temples"

New Delhi, Sep 23 (ANI): In a first of its kind campaign, online influencers have created a large-scale awareness on modern methods of menstrual hygiene management (MHM). The Fix Your Periods campaign executed by Everteen, a feminine hygiene products brand owned by Wet and Dry Personal Care, was supported by the Indian Medical Academy for Preventive Health (IMAPH) and HEAL Foundation. All those who participated in the digital initiative were able to resolve many of their issues related to the use of the menstrual cups in their preferable regional languages. The campaign helped the organisers to track down that as many as 20 per cent of the girls were unaware that menstrual cups give them the freedom to pursue outdoor activities with ease. 6-year-old girl raped by neighbour in UP's Hapur

Hapur (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 23 (ANI): A 6-year-old girl was allegedly raped by one of her neighbours in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur on September 22. The incident took place in Hafizpur area of Hapur. The accused went absconding after the incident. The mishappening occurred, when the victim was playing outside her house and the accused took her to the nearby field and committed the heinous act. He left the victim bleeding in pain. The victim was rushed to the nearby hospital for the treatment. Police have registered the case against the accused and are conducting raids to nab him. iOS 13 lets you find friends and lost iPhone with a single tool

New Delhi, Sep 23 (ANI): Apple recently rolled out its iOS 13 and with it, a ton of improvements have been added for iPhone users. One of the noticeable changes is the merging of Find My iPhone and Find My Friends apps. Called Find My app, the tool shows you three options: Friends, Devices, Me; to search for your lost iPhone using iCloud account or friends or people from your contacts who were previously in the Find My Friends app, Cnet reports. The Me tab shows options to stop sharing your location with your friends, edit location names, and turn friend requests on or off. The new Find My app is included in iOS 13 and iPadOS.

Man kills boss for firing him from job in Mumbai's Ghatkopar

Mumbai, Sep 23 (ANI): The Mumbai police registered a case against a man for allegedly killing his ex-boss in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area on September 23. According to the police, the accused was a former employee of the victim.
