Jammu, Sep 11 (ANI): Union Minister of State (independent charge) for PMO Jitendra Singh addressed mediapersons in Jammu on September 10. He said, "Now next agenda is retrieving parts (PoK) of Jammu and Kashmir and making it part of India. It's not only mine or party's commitment, but it's a part of unanimously passed resolution of Parliament in 1994 by the Congress govt headed by PM Narasimha Rao. And that is a different thing that now Congress avoid taking Rao's name."

Apple unveils iPhone 11 with dual-camera system, new colours

New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Apple on September 10 launched its new model iPhone 11 with a 6.1 inch Retina Display at its annual event in California. iPhone 11 will be available in six colours i.e., purple, white, green, yellow, black and red. Last year's iPhone XR had a single 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, but the iPhone 11 now includes dual-camera system, the Verge reported. The new iPhone allows you to see details of the photos with the ultra-wide camera due to new immersive camera interface. The front-facing camera of iPhone 11 is 12-megapixel TrueDepth wide-angle camera. The biggest addition in this new edition of iPhone is night mode which will bring it in the league of Google's Pixel devices and Samsung's latest Note 10 and S10 handsets. Sanjay Nirupam requests Urmila Matondkar to reconsider her resignation

New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam on Tuesday requested Urmila Matondkar not to resign from the party due to "petty politics". Google Docs will now display word count as you write

New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Google is constantly improving its G Suite apps and the latest to receive a nifty feature is Google Docs which will now display word count as you type. Instead of checking the word count from Tools or keyboard shortcut, Google Docs will display it in a word count box on the bottom left, the official blog explained. To enable the functionality, select Tools > Word count > Display word count while typing. For a specific section of the text, simply highlight it in the doc. The feature is being gradually rolled out starting this week.

Apple launched iPhone 11 Pro with three rear cameras

New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Apple on September 10 launched its advanced next-generation model - iPhone 11 Pro at its annual event in California.The latest iPhone finds similarity with the last year's release iPhone XS but stands out with its three rear cameras, reported The Verge. The three rear cameras with 4x optical zoom including the wide, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses are amongst the big standout features of the phone. The 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens offers a 120-degree field of view. They have also upgraded their photography features with a new dedicated Night mode to improve performance in dark lighting. The feature picks up automatically when you are in shooting in the dark. Daytime napping lowers risk of heart attack, finds study

New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Taking a nap during daytime can not only refresh you but also lower the risk of heart attack or stroke if taken once or twice in a week, found a new study. The impact of napping on heart health has been hotly contested since many of the published studies on the topic have failed to consider napping frequency, or focused purely on cardiovascular disease deaths, or compared regular nappers with those not opting for a mini siesta. In the study published in the Journal 'Heart', researchers looked at the association between napping frequency and average nap duration and the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular disease 'events,' such as heart attack, stroke, or heart failure, among 3462 randomly selected residents of Lausanne, Switzerland. Each participant was aged between 35 and 75 when recruited between 2003 and 2006 to the CoLaus study. Akhilesh Yadav slams Yogi govt over delay in development projects

Most bank fraud cases are related to SBI: RTI activist

Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh), Sep 10 (ANI): While speaking to ANI about the details of bank fraud cases which were registered in the first quarter of this financial year, an RTI activist from Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch, Chandra Shekhar Gaur said, "I had filed a Right to Information (RTI) at RBI, seeking details of bank fraud cases registered in first quarter of this financial year and amount involved. As per Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) data 2480 cases registered, as far as 18 public sector banks are concerned. Rs 31,898.63 Crore is involved." "Most cases are related to State Bank of India (SBI)-1197 where Rs 12,012.77 Crore is involved. Allahabad Bank comes 2nd with 381 cases where Rs 2855.45 Crore involved. PNB comes 3rd-99 cases with Rs 2526.55 Crore involved. RBI said data on extent of loss is not available with them," he added.
