Hyderabad, Aug 31 (ANI): Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu met Indian badminton player PV Sindhu at his residence in Hyderabad on August31. Sindhu became the first-Indian to win gold medal in Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Championships. She defeated Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in finals of tournament on Aug 25. Roorkee (Uttarakhand), Aug 31 (ANI): A woman gave birth with the help of Govt Railway Police (GRP) personnel in Durgiana Express on August 30. After the woman complaint of labour pain, the train was stopped at Roorkee which wasn't a designated stop. She and the baby were later admitted to hospital for treatment.
Cuttack (Odisha), Aug 31 (ANI): The Forest Department personnel rescued an Indian pangolin from a house at Athagarh in Odisha's Cuttack on August 31. The rescued pangolin is currently kept in the Badamba Forest Range and will later be released into Nandankanan Zoo.
Gorakhpur (UP), Aug 31 (ANI): UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated projects worth Rs 9.96 crore comprising 25 floating cascade fountains, 1 multimedia floating fountain and 450 kw solar power plant at Ramgarh Tal Lake. These projects have been built under the National Lake Conservation Programme of the Government of India and the pollution control and conservation plan of the Urban Development Department for Ramgarh Tal Lake.

She was being treated at a hospital where my husband is senior assistant. But Dr Rajya Lakshmi, who took charge as Head of Psychology Dept in 2010 refused to give her treatment."

Investigation is underway in this regard. No school student was administered with the expired medicine as per the government officials. While speaking to ANI, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Banda Santosh Kumar said, "No expired tablets were delivered to the schools. This is a matter of investigation.
