Lucknow (UP), Aug 29 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, MoS of Uttar Pradesh Government, Pandit Sunil Bharala in a support of Ram temple said, "Temple of Lord Rama will definitely be built during the tenure of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He is a decisive man, and will be the one to build the temple with his own hands."

Devotees paint the idol of Lord Ganesha in new colours after their wish are fulfilled. Devotees from different states frequently visit the place. Locals consider it a miracle. Due to frequent visits, the idol changes colours more than 50 times a year.

Pendra (Chhattisgarh), Aug 29 (ANI): A speech and hearing impaired girl was allegedly gang-raped in Chhattisgarh's Pendra. The incident happened at Rajadih village. 5 people have been arrested in this regard. While speaking to ANI, one of the police officials said, "One of her family members helped us to understand her signs and we have arrested 5 accused in his regard."

Leh remembers bravehearts of UT agitation

Leh (Ladakh), Aug 29 (ANI): Leh remembered the bravehearts of Union Territory agitation of 1989 by paying rich tributes at the martyrs' memorial park -- Skyatsaks Leh - in Leh on August 27. The day was observed in Leh to pay homage to those people who were killed on this day in 1989 in police firing as an agitation lunched in support of the long-pending demand of Union Territory for Ladakh. Various leaders attended the function. Recently, Parliament abrogated Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, and reorganising the state into two Union Territories -- Jammu and Kashmir with Assembly and Ladakh without legislature.

Sitaram Yechury leaves for Srinagar to meet Yousuf Tarigami

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechury left for Srinagar from Delhi Airport on August 29. Supreme Court gave Yechury the permission to visit Jammu and Kashmir on August 28. He will meet his party leader Yousuf Tarigami in Srinagar. While speaking to ANI, he said, "I am going to meet my party leader Yousuf Tarigami."

Man attempting kidnapping of a kid apprehended by family, handed over to police

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 29 (ANI): A man attempting to abduct an 8-year-old boy was captured by family of the boy. The family took him to the police and filed a complaint, after which he was arrested. Aligarh ASP, Abhishek said, "The accused is in police custody, interrogation is going on. Further investigation is underway."

Students to give feedback of teachers' performance in Odisha

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Aug 29 (ANI): The School and Mass Education Department of Odisha has planned to introduce a system to improve learning outcome of students of government schools. Teachers will now get appraisal on the basis of their performance. School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said, "We'll take feedback from the students. In every classroom, there'll be a register in which teacher will have to enter the time of their entry and exit, topics that they taught in the class, and the number of students present in their class."

NIA raids underway in Coimbatore
