We would prefer more dialogue between the two countries (India and Pakistan). Both will hear the Shimla agreement and Lahore declaration".
Jammu, Aug 28 (ANI): After the Supreme Court allowed Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury to visit Jammu and Kashmir (J-K), state BJP president Ravinder Raina urged the Left leader to first visit West Bengal and Kerala to see situation in both the states where, Raina claimed that innocent people were dying. Speaking on the controversy around Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was quoted by Pakistan in their letter to United Nations over abrogation of Article 370 from J-K, Raina said Opposition leaders like Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury were speaking the language of Pakistan and ISI.
New Delhi, Aug 28 (ANI): After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi came under fire for being mentioned in Pakistan's letter to United Nations over abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir (JandK), senior party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said Pakistan is trying to execute its nefarious agenda through former Congress president's statement, and cautioned ruling BJP to not get trapped in the propaganda of Pakistan. Chowdhury also urged BJP to not politicise the matter, and weaken India's position just to criticise Rahul.

Bengaluru, Aug 28 (ANI): Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the civic administration body of Karnataka capital, will intensify its effort in implementing the state-wide ban on single-use plastic, and besides small and big manufacturers, it will even penalise users for using single-use plastic. "In 2016, there was a statewide ban on single-use plastic by state government which is applicable to BBMP limits also. Implementation has not been in top gear," BBMP's Special Commissioner D Randeep said. "Now, we are ensuring that any user of plastic, be it domestic or big eateries or manufacturers, all this should completely cease. Even the user will be fined," he added.
Vaishali (Bihar), Aug 28 (ANI): 13 people including 3 women attacked with acid in Bihar's Vaishali on August 28. The attack happened after a fight erupted between two groups in Daudnagar. Jammu, Aug 28 (ANI): Gujjar community held a protest in Jammu on August 28 over the heinous killing of two members of their community. Both the members were abducted from a forested area of Tral in Pulwama district. This is the first militant attack after the BJP-led NDA government abrogated provisions of Article 370 and announced bifurcation of the state into union territories on August 5.

This comes after Pakistani Minister for Human Rights, Shireen Mazari, on Tuesday said she has written a letter to 18 UN Special Procedures mandate on Kashmir issue.
