Mumbai, Nov 04 (ANI): Wife of late Anvay Naik, Akshita Naik on Arnab Goswami's arrest thanked Maharashtra police for bringing in this day. Akshita Naik said, "I really want to thank Maharashtra police that this day has come in my life. I kept a lot of patience. Although my husband and mother-in-law will not come back with this but they are still alive for me." Editor-in-Chief of Republic TV, Arnab Goswami was detained by Mumbai Police on the morning of November 04 for allegedly abetting the suicide of a 53-year-old interior designer Anvay Naik.
Off The Coast (Bay of Bengal), Nov 04 (ANI): India along with US, Japan and Australia started the 'Malabar' naval exercise in Bay of Bengal. Navies of all four countries carried out anti-submarine warfare operations and naval maneuver at sea. Indian Navy's Ranvijay, Shivalik, Shakti, Sukanya and submarine Sindhuraj are exercising these operations with USS John S McCain, HMAS Ballarat and JMSDF Ship JS Onami. India, US, Japan and Australia are a part of 'Quad' alliance.
Muzaffarpur (Bihar), Nov 04 (ANI): Ahead of final round of voting for Bihar's state assembly, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a rally in Bihar's Muzaffarpur. While addressing the rally, Rajnath Singh said that PoK belongs to India and we consider it as a part of us. He called it as 'our parliament's resolution.' Rajnath Singh said, "No power can capture an inch of India's land. And we will neither let anyone capture an inch of our land nor will we capture an inch land of another country. Pakistan should understand one thing clearly that entire PoK belonged to India and today also we consider PoK as part of India. In future also, it will remain with India. This is our parliament's resolution."
Raigad (Maharashtra), Nov 04 (ANI): Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami showed injury marks on his hand and said that he was assaulted. "Policemen surrounded me, held me by the scruff of my neck, and pushed me. I am here without shoes, I have been assaulted," said Goswami. Goswami was arrested by the Mumbai Police in two-year old suicide case.
Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Nov 04 (ANI): 9 workers died after a massive explosion ripped apart a chemical godown in Ahmedabad. The godown was located in the industrial belt on Pirana- Piplaj road. Injured workers have been admitted in the hospital for treatment. Rescue operation is underway. Heavy machines are being used to clear the debris.
New Delhi, Nov 03 (ANI): Dense layer of smog engulfed parts of the national capital. According to Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality index stood in 'poor' category. The visibility decreased in multiple areas of Delhi. Anand Vihar railway track was barely visible as layer of smog enveloped the tracks. Smog reduced the visibility of Akshardham temple. Delhi Chief Minister has taken up multiple steps to curb the air pollution but the condition seems to have deteriorated with passing days.

Yadav said, "In this tsunami of change people of Bihar will vote on agenda of 'Padhai, Kamai, Dawai, Sichai, Mehengai'. I am sure they will vote for us as they want achange in state, they want proactive and progressive government. People of Bihar will vote for change." "It will be clear, first phase has already given an indication," he added. Voting will also be held in Raghopur, from where Tejashwi has filed his nomination.
Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Nov 03 (ANI): All 'Aahar Centres' in Odisha's Bhubaneswar became operational from November 02. Centres run by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) serve food at nominal cost of Rs 5. Speaking to ANI, BMC Deputy Commissioner Suvendu Kumar Sahoo said, "There are 12 'Aahar Centres' under BMC of which only five were operating and all of them are functional now."
