The tournament is being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) with support from various football clubs of Kashmir. Appreciating the step taken by the association, football players said that this will boost the players' morale and will also help them in enhancing their skills. 12 football clubs will be participating in the tournament. According to the organisers the tournament will be organised in all major districts in coming days to ensure participation throughout the year. The 30-year-old Serb had been scheduled to start the new season at an exhibition match in Abu Dhabi on Friday when an elbow injury flared up. "Only when I'm 100 percent ready to play, will I be able to come back. I hope it will be soon," he said in a statement.
