Bangkok, Dec 02 (ANI): On November 26, Thai police arrested Munir Mengal, founder of the Baloch Voice Association, and Bilal Baloch, a journalist, from a Bangkok hotel. Residents of France, both of them were deported for holding a conference on Balochistan. Police also arrested and interrogated Hong Kong-based Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) commissioner Bashir Naveed and placed him in a detention centre for over 24 hours the next day. He was later deported to Hong Kong. The conference titled "Balochistan Geopolitics and the Baloch! An analysis of Past, Present and Future" was to be held between November 28 and 30. Speaking at the inaugural launch of the Delhi-Madrid flight, Air India Director-Commercial, Pankaj Srivastava, said the flight will bring the two countries closer and will take less than 9 hours to reach Madrid from Delhi. Air India has flights to eight other European cities such as Birmingham, Vienna, Rome, Paris, London, Milan, Frankfurt and Moscow.

Kathmandu, Nov 26 (ANI): The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has reduced the exchange limit of INR to 2,000 from 5,000 after India introduced new bank notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,000. The NRB has also requested the people not to use newly introduced note of 500 and 2,000 terming it "illegal", citing Foreign Exchange Management Act, which is still to ratify the bank notes. Nepal has also sent a letter to RBI regarding the matter. It is estimated that 21.9 percent of total Rs 1,039.21 billion foreign reserve in Nepal is constituted by Indian Rupees. The NRB also have formed a committee to recommend the Indian government about the procedures of exchanging the Indian Currency.

Jiangxi, China, Nov 24 (ANI): At least 40 people have died after an under construction platform at a power plant's cooling tower in eastern China's Jiangxi province collapsed on Thursday. Nepal, Nov 21 (ANI): Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav on Monday said the alliance and other small parties have set a 15-day deadline before Prime Minister Prachanda to table a proposal in Parliament to amend the new Constitution to address Madhesi grievances.
