'I am treated like a dog': pro-Khalistani leader Gopal Singh Chawla

Lahore (Pakistan), July 17 (ANI): Former Chief of Pakistan Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (PSGPC) and a pro-Khalistani leader, who was removed recently from a panel linked to the Kartarpur Corridor, has alleged Pakistan government of treating him like a dog. Chawla recently hoisted Nishan Sahib at Gurudwara Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh at Naulakha Bazar in Lahore. While addressing a gathering of Sikh devotes at the historical place he showed anger towards Pakistan government and said that despite all the sacrifices made by him he was booted out from the panel. After his removal from the committee, Gopal Chawla started exposing Pakistan's discriminatory policies against the Sikhs. He, along with other Sikhs gathered at the Gurudwara Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh and revealed its dilapidated condition. Baloch activists stage protest against enforced disappearances in S Korea's Busan

Busan (South Korea), Jul 16 (ANI): Activists of Baloch Republican Party (BRP) organised a protest in Busan city of South Korea to highlight the grim issue of enforced disappearances in Pakistan's Balochistan province. They shouted slogans against Pakistan Army and spy agency ISI, for abductions, torture and killings of Baloch political activists and intellectuals. While addressing the gathering during the protest, BRP South Korea president, Ameer Baloch, said that not a single home was spared of abductions, every "house has a beloved missing person or someone killed by the Army."

Kartarpur Corridor: Pakistan agrees on 80% demands

Wagah Border (Pakistan), July 14 (ANI): Pakistan agreed on 80% demands on Kartarpur Sahib after bilateral meeting with India on Sunday. Starting his press conference with a Shayari, Mohammad Faisal, Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, said, "'Jara mausam toh badla hn lekin magar pedo ki shakho par naye patto ko aane mei abhi kuch din lagege' and informs that Pakistan agreed on 80% demands on Kartarpur Sahib today." "There might be one more meeting held to discuss the pending issues" Mohammad Faisal further added. Delegations of Indian and Pakistani officials held meeting for the second round of bilateral discussions over the Kartarpur Corridor. The officials discussed the draft agreement and operationalisation of the Kartarpur Corridor and related technical matters.

Kartarpur Corridor proposes to connect the Sikh shrines of Dera Baba Nanak Sahib in Gurdaspur and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, Pakistan. France launches 1st Barracuda-class nuclear attack submarine 'Suffren'

Cherbourg-Octeville (France), July 13 (ANI): France on Friday launched the first nuclear attack submarine of the Barracuda-Class named 'Suffren' at the Naval Group facility in Cherbourg-Octeville. The boat, first in its class being built for French Navy, was launched by French President Emanuel Macron. While speaking to ANI on this matter, Vice President (Sales and Business Development) of India, Asia and Pacific, Naval Group, Nicolas de La Villemarque said, "This is the latest generation submarine of the French Navy. There will be 6 of them. They have the latest technology for combat management system and also for stealth." The nuclear submarine enjoy an edge over conventional submarines because they can stay underwater for a much longer period of time, this making it difficult for the enemy to locate and hunt them.

Pakistan seeks to mobilise terrorists through Kartarpur Corridor, says expert

New Delhi, July 10 (ANI): Politicians and experts believe that Pakistan will use the proposed Kartarpur corridor to revive its multi-pronged nefarious designs of subverting peace and harmony in India. Ajay Sahni, the Executive Director of the Institute for Conflict Management in New Delhi asserted that Pakistan has no sympathy for religious sentiments of Sikhs and it will aim to use Kartarpur corridor to accomplish its agenda. Nepal opposition obstructs house proceedings, demand probe in Sarlahi shootings
