California wildfire reaches 95% containment

California (USA), Nov 24 (ANI): According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, the raging California wildfire that caused a large-scale destruction has reached 95 percent containment. The five percent fire that remains uncontained is located in steep and rugged terrain. An official report of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection stated that while all containment lines continue to hold around the affected areas, it is still unsafe for the fire-fighters to access the remaining five percent terrain due to heavy rains."There is indirect control line in that area and fire-fighters are monitoring the situation. Once safe to do so, crews will assess this area and determine if direct line is necessary. Fire suppression repair personnel continue to assess areas for rehabilitation and conduct repair where possible. Prez Kovind leaves for India from Australia

2 policemen killed in firing near Karachi Chinese Consulate

Karachi (Pakistan), Nov 23 (ANI): At least two policemen were killed and one policeman was injured in indiscriminate firing and explosion outside Chinese Consulate in Karachi. Police stationed near the Consulate retaliated. The blast was heard during exchange of fire. Identity of the person injured in the gun battle is yet to be ascertained. Heavy security has been deployed and area near the Chinese Consulate has been cordoned off.

Pakistan again stops Indian officials from entering Gurdwara

Lahore (Pakistan), Nov 23 (ANI): Pakistan has once again stopped Indian High Commission officials from meeting Indian pilgrims visiting Gurdwara Sacha Sauda Sahib in Farooqabad near Lahore. Even as the Sikh community observes the 549th birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Dev at Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, the ISI officials masquerading as Sikhs stopped the entry of Indian diplomats from Islamabad led by Ranjit Singh (in black Band Gala Suite) and Sunil Kumar. Japan generates electricity by recycling waste food

Tokyo (Japan), Nov 22 (ANI): Japan has introduced a new technology to generate electricity by recycling waste food. JFE Engineering Corporation has established a new company called "J Bio Food Recycle" with cooperation of wholly-owned subsidiary, JFE Kankyo Corporation, also in joint project with East Japan Railway Company and JR East Environment Access. This project began as food recycling business by converting to biogas beginning in August 2018. In this project, 80 ton per day of food waste will be treated by microbial fermentation, and electric power will be generated by using methane gas created in this process as fuel. In the process, food wastes from food factories and train station buildings will be crushed and separated into category including organic matter and other type of waste items like plastic container and wrapping paper. After that, segregated organic matter undergoes moisture adjustment and is sent to fermentation tank where organic matter is fermented by microorgani
