Vice President Naidu arrives in Zimbabwe

Harare (Zimbabwe), Nov 03 (ANI): Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday arrived at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Zimbabwe's Harare. Vice President of Zimbawe Constantino Chiwenga received Naidu at the airport. Naidu is on a three-nation visit to Botswana, Zimbabwe and Malawi. Naidu will be in Zimbabwe from November 2 to November 4, where he will meet with the Foreign Minister and lay the foundation stone of the Chancery project.

President Trump offers Heather Nauert US Ambassador to UN job

Washington DC (US), Nov 02 (ANI): President of the United States of America (USA) Donald Trump offered US Ambassador to United Nations (UN) job to state department spokesperson Heather Nauert. Nauert has been offered job to replace the outgoing US Ambassador to UN, Nikki Haley. Earlier this month, Haley announced that she is quitting from the post. Former Fox News journalist Nauert was appointed as spokesperson for the state department in April 2017. Heather has served under former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson as well as incumbent Mike Pompeo.

Shimizu introduces Tradition of construction

Tokyo (Japan), Nov 01 (ANI): This is Yoyogi National Gymnasium. It was constructed in 1964 for Tokyo Olympics by Japanese construction company Shimizu Corporation. Recently, "Shimizu Corporation" held a public lecture "Shimizu Open Academy" with the theme of "Yoyogi National Gymnasium Construction History". A documentary video that recorded the history of "Yoyogi National Gymnasium" construction over 13 months was screened for audience. This gymnasium is still one of the most symbolic buildings for both the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and Shimizu Corporation. After the screening, "Mamoru Kawaguchi" who designed the gymnasium, spoke about the building technology, methods for supporting roofs and motif of traditional Japanese roofs. 7 killed, 14 injured in Kabul prison explosion

New Delhi, Oct 31 (ANI): An explosion rattled the Pul-e-Charkhi prison on Wednesday morning, leaving seven people dead and 14 injured. Officials from the Ministry of Interior told TOLOnews that perpetrators targeted an employee vehicle at the prison's gate. Furthermore, security forces confirmed that most of the employees in the vehicle were women. Further investigation is still underway.

Nepal PM admitted to hospital due to seasonal flu

Kathmandu (Nepal), Oct 29 (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister, K P Oli, has been admitted to the Manmohan Cardiovascular Center in Nepal's Maharagunj district, on Monday due to a lung infection. He had been ill for the past few days due to seasonal flu. Various political leaders from Nepal's ruling alliance made their way to see admitted Nepal's PM Oli. Doctors had suggested Oli get rest for three days after his health condition deteriorated due to cold and fever. Oli was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after he complained about the difficulty in breathing. Oli, who had stayed away from meetings and public programmes for the past few days, briefly attended the Cabinet meeting at his official residence in Baluwatar.
