Power user directed to clear dues

| Justice Barin Ghosh of the Calcutta High Court refused to pass any order for restoration of electricity to Prakash Ceramics, a Howrah based company and a CESC consumer which had had its power supply disconnected on ground of theft. |
| The unit moved a writ petition in the court and sought for restoration of the supply. CESC said supply was disconnected as the unit illegally drew supply from a low tension supply located at the same premises bypassing the high tension supply meter standing in the name of the unit at the same premises. |
