2.5 kg of gold seized from passenger at airport

Around 2.5 kg of gold was seized from a passenger who arrived here from Dubai early this morning.

The gold, worth Rs 85 lakh, was found concealed under the clothes of Mohammad Umar, a native of Andhra Pradesh, during a routine check by customs officials, airport sources said.

Yesterday about 2.5 kg gold was seized from a woman air passenger Sheik Mubarak (25) who arrived from Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
