Jharakhand CM inaugurates Burnpur Cement's Patratu unit

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today inaugurated the Patratu unit of Burnpur Cement Limited.

The company has invested Rs 300 crore for its Patratu plant with an annual production of 2.4 lakh tonne, sources in the industry department said.

Stressing upon setting up of small and medium industries to boost employment opportunities, Das said increasing network of industries is a yardstick for a state's development.

"Every district should have one or two industries to create employment," he said at Patratu, about 30 km from here.
