Man charred to death in bus fire

A 50-year-old man was today charred to death when a bus caught fire in Pallia town here.

The incident occurred in the wee hours when Om Prakash, a resident of Bhanpur village and the conductor of the bus, was sleeping in it, Circle Officer L D Bharti said.

The cause of the fire is not known yet, Bharti said, adding the body has been sent for a postmortem.
