Three children drown in pond in Rajasthan

Three children drowned while bathing in a pond in Rajasthan's Udaipur district today, police said.

Sanjay Meena (8), Shankar Meena (7) and Omprakash Meena (10) were taking a bath in Jogi pond in Goverdhan Vilas area, they said.

They slipped and fell into the deep end of the pond and drowned, police said.

The bodies were handed over to family members after postmortem, they added.
