IDEA Cellular today bagged the title sponsorship for the one day international (ODI) cricket tri-series and the test match series. The series is to be played in Bangladesh from January 4, 2010. The cricket tournament, which includes a seven match ODI tri-series between India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and two test match series between India and Bangladesh will be titled ‘The IDEA Cup’.

As title sponsor of the tournament, IDEA Cellular will gain exclusive rights to branding at strategic locations at the venue of cricket matches in Bangladesh, and on the trophies of both the tournaments. IDEA Cellular will run contests to enable its customers to win free tickets to the tournament. IDEA will also offer a chance for its customers to win merchandise and meet the cricket stars.
