OU student dies while undergoing treatment
BS Reporter / Chennai/ Hyderabad March 10, 2010, 0:21 IST

A tense situation prevailed near Gandhi Hospital in Seunderabad on Tuesday where Sai Kumar, a second year engineering student of Osmania University, died while undergoing treatment. Allegedly disappointed over the delay in the formation of Telangana, Sai Kumar was stated to have made a suicide attempt by hanging himself in his hostel room today morning.

Students, who gathered at the hospital premises, wanted to take Sai Kumar's body in a procession to the Osmania University. They got agitated when police did not allow them to take out a procession.

When people are suppressed to an extent that they can't do what they want or express freely. Especially last wishes of a departed soul. How can minority community of the state feel safe with suppressive state govt. This will drive people to suicide or terrorism. The last time suppression of the telangana revolution has given enough of naxal from this region. What is current pro-minority govt. at center doing? Is the current center govt. a pro-minority or just plain pro-Muslim(for votes)! I am praying to the god to give strength to the people of the region. As the center and state govt.'s decided to abandon this region. I m sure when there is no one for you god will come for you.
