DLF Cup: WI wins via D/L method following rain

 Updated at 1630 hrs: West Indies were at 5 runs at the end of the first over in reply to India's 309. While Chanderpaul was batting on 1, Gayle was batting on 2. 

 Updated at 1615 hrs: Sachin Tendulkar made a solid come back by scoring an unbeaten 141 runs, and powered India to a formidable score of 309 for 5 against West Indies in the DLF Cup.

Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to bat first. Irfan Pathan scored a quick-fire 64 runs (68 balls). While S R Raina scored 34 runs (29 balls), Dravid scored 26 runs.

J E Taylor took three wickets and gave away 64 runs. Smith and Gayle took one wicket each.

 Updated at 1607 hrs: India has set West Indies a target of 310 to win by scoring 309 for the loss of five wickets.
