Product designer Bhargav Mistry sees form in his Sarod music

He learnt the basics from a guru in Ahmedabad where he lived, and since then has been taking classes from Ustad Amjad Ali Khan occasionally. Among his other maestro mentors are violin great Yehudi Menuhin, pianist George Winston, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Ustad Amir Khan, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Gangubai Hangal and composer Jaidev.

 

Over the last 30 years, Mistry has played the sarod in the time he finds in between and after work. As all artistes do, he too has acquired a distinct style that has perhaps a touch of Udaipur
