Aban Offshore Q3 net slumps 22% to Rs 57.5 cr

Offshore drilling contractor Aban Offshore today reported a drop in its net profit by 22 per cent to Rs 57.52 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, over the same period last fiscal.

The firm reported a net profit of Rs 73.59 crore in the October-December period last fiscal, the company said in a statement.

The total income of the company also declined by 15% at Rs 281.16 crore in the third quarter of 2010, over Rs 330.32 crore in 2009-10, the statement added.
