| Apollo Hospitals net up 11% |
| Chennai-based Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, has reported a 11 per cent growth in net profits to Rs 11 crore for third quarter ending December 31, 2004. |
| The healthcare service provider's total income increased to Rs 149.2 crore for the third quarter in 2004-05 compared with Rs126 crore for the same period last year. |
| Its income from services improved by 15.27 per cent to Rs 144.9 crore for the third quarter in 2004-05. The interest expenditure declined to 3.6 crore for the third quarter in 2004-05 compared to Rs 5.3 crore for the corresponding period the previous year. |
| Ajanta Pharma net up 47% |
| Ajanta Pharma has posted a net profit of Rs 1.54 crore for the third quarter ended 31st December against Rs 1.05 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year, up 47 per cent. Sales for the quarter increased by 75 per cent to Rs 40.97 crore compared with Rs 32.79 crore in the same period previous year. |
| Interest outgo for the quarter stood at 2.27 crore (Rs 2.84 crore). The company is continuing with its thrust on the global market with more product registrations. |
| During the quarter, it filed 84 product dossiers for registration in different countries which is expected to ensure the company's continued growth in the world market, the drug maker said in a media release. |
| Bajaj Auto Fin net up 45% |
| Bajaj Auto Finance has posted a 44.59 per cent rise in net profit during the quarter ended December 31, 2004 to Rs 15.37 crore compared with the corresponding period's Rs 10.63 crore. Total income increased by VVV per cent from 37.17 crore to Rs 47.10 crore. |
