Azure Power today announced that it has won projects with 100 mw solar power capacity, which were recently put up for action by NTPC. These projects will be built in Andhra Pradesh solar park, where NTPC has auctioned a total capacity of 1,000 mw of solar power.

The first two auctions in the AP solar park were won by Sun Edison and Soft Bank at a tariff of Rs 4.63 per unit.
Ten companies have participated in the latest round of bidding. The auction was a part of National Solar Mission.
