Burn Standard May Be Sold Off Separately

The disinvestment ministry, which is likely to invite expressions of interest (EoI) for Burn Standard Company (BSCL) this month, is considering divesting three divisions of the ailing public sector unit separately.

Sources close to the development said the idea had come about after Hindustan Engineering Industries (HEI), formerly Hindustan Development Consultant (HDC), showed interest only in the Howrah foundry.
