Cisco India chief Jangoo Dalal calls it quits

| Ending a decade-old association, Jangoo Dalal, president and country manager of Cisco (India and SAARC), has quit the company. "Jangoo Dalal has decided to put in his papers to pursue his career further and take up a better opportunity," a Cisco spokesperson tolds Business Standard. Naresh Wadhwa, vice president (India and SAARC), Cisco Systems, will hold additional responsibility of the country manager till a replacement for Dalal is found. The reason for Dalal's departure was not immediately known. Before taking up charge as country manager last year, Dalal was based in Singapore and was responsible for developing Cisco's channel operations and strategy functions, across the Asia Pacific region. Dalal is an industry veteran with more than 18 years of experience in the technology industry. Before joining Cisco in 1997, he was marketing manager at Wipro-British Telecom. |
