Digi Vive bags mobile streaming rights of IPL 2013

NexGTv is a mobile application, which provides access to live TV channels and video on demand on handsets

Value added services provider DigiVive today said its mobile TV service nexGTv has bagged mobile streaming rights of Indian Premier League 2013 matches from master rights holder Times Internet.

India Premier League (IPL) 2013 will commence from April 3 and will go on till May 26. A total of 76 matches will be played, DigiVive said in a release.

NexGTv is a mobile application, which provides access to live TV channels and video on demand on handsets."Streaming all the 76 matches of IPL is yet another step towards our commitment of delivering best possible service and content on our mobile TV platform," DigiVive Director G D Singh said.
 
    
NexGTv users will be able to catch all the action on their handsets and will also see match repeats and highlights in the Video-on-Demand section. IPL channel will be clubbed into existing subscription packs of nexGTv so that users can watch it by subscribing to these packs, he added.
    
"Partnering with nexGTV is a step forward for us in bringing IPL 2013 to cricket fans across mobile devices, allowing them to catch the IPL action anytime, anywhere," Times Internet CEO Satyan Gajwani said.
    
NexGTv mobile TV service had bagged rights to stream live T20 World Cup matches.
