Following a high level delegation of Union Civil Aviation Ministry meeting with Saurabh Patel, civil aviation minister, Government of Gujarat last month, Jet Airways is now set to start direct flight from Ahmedabad to Abu Dhabi from November 14, 2014.
Apparently, in the meeting with the delegation, Patel has emphasised on better air connectivity for people of Gujarat, thereby resulting in Jet Airways announcing the direct flight.
The flight will depart from Sardar Patel International Airport at Ahmedabad at around 1500 hrs and would take three hours to reach Abu Dhabi. Air India has already promised to add a new flight in their winter schedule to New Delhi.
