Fashion app Styledotme raises funding from Indian Angel Network

Investment will be utilised to build technical team, fine tuning the app and adding new features

Delhi Based start-up Styledotme has raised funding from Indian Angel Network (IAN). The investment has been made under the 'Small Ticket Funding programme' which was announced by IAN last year. Ajay Gupta has led this round of investment on behalf of IAN and will mentoring the company.

Started in 2014, Styledotme is a fashion app that allows users to network of friends and followers along with expert advice. The Styledotme app allows the user to instantly poll with friends and followers and get them to vote on his/her choices.

The app also has bloggers/stylists giving instant expert advice to the users that will help users make quick decision. The stylists and bloggers have a different badge that makes their advice and votes different from that of normal users. Styledotme app is available for free on Android and iOS platforms.

 

The investment will be utilised to build the company's technical team, fine tuning the app and adding new features that would make the app more intuitive and addictive. They will also be marketing the app both in offline and online space, said the company.
