Gayatri Projects wins Rs 926 crore highway project in Bihar

Hyderabad-based Gayatri Projects Limited has bagged Rs 926-crore highway road construction contract in the state of Bihar. The contract involves four-laning of Gaya-Hisua-Rajgir-Nalanda-Bhiarsharif section of NH-82, the company said.
Gayatri has won the contract from Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDC) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH). The project is being funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
In the last 18 months the company's order book has more than doubled to over Rs 12,000 crore mostly coming from the road sector.
