State-run Gujarat State Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd (GSFC) posted a net profit of Rs 108.23 crore for the first quarter of the 2014-15 as against Rs 5.54 crore in the corresponding period of previous financial year.
The company said it achieved sales turnover of Rs 1243.20 crore for the first quarter as against Rs 1017.98 crore in the corresponding period of previous financial year. Aggregate sales value of industrial products, the company said, for the first quarter stood at Rs 559 crore.
Consistency in supply of raw materials like Phosphoric Acid, Benzene, Sulphur helped the company register impressive growth.
