Hablis Hotels, which launched its 120-room hotel in Chennai today targeting business travellers, is now planning to develop or manage hotels in various cities across the country, said a senior official of the company.
"This is our first project under the Hablis brand. Further, we would look at setting up or managing more hospitality projects in the similar category. Clearly, we are betting on the price points with a lower rack rate in comparison with other hotels. Primarily, our focus has been on providing the comfort of a five-star hotel within the four-star category," said Rajesh, managing director of Hablis Hotels.
Set up with an investment of around Rs 68 crore, the company is expecting its Chennai hotel to be on full steam in the next six months. As part of its business plans, Hablis is also looking to develop new hotels on its land bank in Coimbatore and Bangalore.
