| Hinduja Group renames holding firm HAL |

| Diversified conglomerate Hinduja Group has renamed LRLIH UK, the holding company of Ashok Leyland and Ennore Foundries, Hinduja Automotive (HAL). HAL will be the exclusive platform of strategic ownership and related businesses of the group in the automotive sector, the group said in a release. HAL will expand the group's present interest in commercial vehicles and foundries to a wider range of products and services such as components including iron and aluminium foundry products, construction equipment, technology and other adjacent area, it said. Gopichand P Hinduja will continue as chairman and Dheeraj G Hinduja will continue as co-chairman.While continuing as managing director and CEO of Ashok Leyland, R Seshasayee will be appointed vice-chairman of HAL with immediate effect, the group said.
